Best Budget 4k 55" inch UHD TV under $500 in 2023

Looking for a budget-friendly TV? For yourself or for someone as a gift? Here are some affordable TV recommendations that you will appreciate.

1. Amazon Fire TV 50" 4-Series 4K UHD smart TV

Amazon Fire TV 55"

This 55" Amazon Fire TV is very affordable. It usually goes on sale and you can buy it for under $300. I personally purchased it for around $270. If you buy a used or open box, you can buy it for around $220 when it is on sale.

It's not the most luxurious 55" TV you can get online or in stores like Bestbuy. But hey it is freakin 55-inch 4k TV for only about $200. At this price range, there is no competitor for this TV. This TV is made by Amazon. It's not made by some sketch brand that you never heard of. So the quality is guaranteed, and if you find this TV under $300 that's a pretty good deal right there.

You can voice command with Alexa without pushing any button on your remote controller or of course, you can use a remote to navigate the TV.

As far as the image quality, you get the best quality out of a $300 TV price tag. Doesn't support local dimming nothing fancy about this TV. But again, I really recommend you buy this TV if you are on a tight budget. Yet you want the best bang for your buck.

2. Hisense 58-inch ULED U6 Seires TV 4k UHD

Hisense 58-inch ULED U6 Series Quantum Dot LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV (58U6HF, 2022 Model)

Hisense is a big player in the TV industry. This brand is not a major player like Samsung, LG, and Sony, yet you've probably seen Hisense advertisements in the Worldcup game, Tennis tournaments, or other sports games. Maybe they don't make the best of the best TVs, however, its TV lineups have pretty decent quality.

This model in particular is 58 inches. I highly recommend you purchase at least a 65-inch TV unless you have a very small living room or bedroom. Because TVs under 65 inches are pretty small, you would want to buy a bigger size as soon as you get a small TV.  But TVs over 65 inches or bigger usually cost more than at least $600. So that's why this Hisense 58-inch TV might be one of your good options if you are on a tight budget.

This TV has 4k resolution, Quantum dot wide color gamut,  and Fire Tv built-in. If you are watching some videos and movies casually, this might be one of your best options.

3. Samsung 55-inch Class Crystal 4K UHD AU8000

Samsung 55 inch Crystal 4k TV AU8000

This Samsung 55-inch 4k TV might be the one that you can see in the states most frequently. This is an affordable model TV that you can easily spot at Target, Costco, and BestBuy.

This one has 4K resolution and built-in voice assistants. It has a pretty slim bezel that you won't be bothered by so much. This model has a VESA mount, a pattern of 200mm x 200mm.

Nice 4K image quality for the price, bright screen. For gaming, this TV only allows 60hz. It has an HDR function and 3 HDMI 2.1 ports. Overall, very good TV for under $500.
